An open discussions on issues and challenges in taking Infra Red Nanoscopy using the far field technique to applications in clinic and industrial metrology. The discussion was a public dissemination of the LANIR Project at the NanoNet Conference with an overview of LANIR applications.

Event - EC Delegation visit LANIR Stand at EuroNanoForum 2013

The LANIR Project has a Stand at the EuroNanoForum 2013 being held in Dublin, Ireland.

EuroNanoForum is Europe’s largest Nanotechnology and Materials Conference. It takes place every two years and receives funding from the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. ENF2013 (Dublin, 18-20 June 2013) will focus on the commercialisation of nanotechnologies, exploiting its potential for new applications and taking them further from enabling technologies to end products. Members of the project team will be present at in Dublin at Stand S56 (LANIR).

Event - LANIR Project at OWLS 2012

 

LANIR members took part in the Optics Within Life Science (OWLS) 2012 Conference, 4-6 July, 2012, Genoa, Italy organised by Professor Alberto Diaspro from IIT.

 

Professor Diaspro (IIT) and Professor George Stanciu (UPB) chaired various sessions in the conference (Event Website: http://www.owls2012.org/ ).

 

Dr. Christophe Silien (UL) presented a paper on ‘Chemical Imaging with Super Resolution Infra-Red Absorption’.
